Patient Protection Is Our Priority
As essential healthcare workers, your health and safety is our priority. We are always on top of fast-moving CDC and OSHA guidelines. Here are the additional measures we are taking to provide fast, convenient, and affordable hearing healthcare in a clean, safe environment.
Employees

We are uncompromising in our proactive commitment to COVID-19 control measures. All of our employees MUST, without exception:
- Adhere exactly to Hearing Aid 911’s COVID-19 Patient Protection Agreement
- Receive the Pfizer, Moderna, or other CDC-approved COVID-19 vaccine when available
- Pass a weekly COVID-19 test from a CDC-approved testing facility
- Pass daily health and temperature screening
- Wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) during appointments that includes a new N95 face mask and medical examination gloves with every patient, as well as a face shield
- Maintain social distance and no- and low-touch protocols at all times
- Restrict out-of-state travel until further notice
- Self-quarantine for the prescribed duration following an official notification of COVID-19 exposure
Patients & Guests
Your commitment to our shared safety is greatly appreciated. For in-person hearing appointments, patients and their guests (limited to one family member or friend) are required to:
- Sign Hearing Aid 911’s COVID-19 Patient Protection Agreement
- Pass the CDC health screening questionnaire and temperature check before entering the clinic
- Wear a mask over the mouth and nose at all times during the appointment. *Note – if you are unable to wear a mask due to health issues, please notify us prior to your appointment.

Mobile Clinic

Our mobile clinic is the cleanest clinic on wheels! That’s because we:
- Only admit patients and their guests into the clinic who have signed Hearing Aid 911’s COVID-19 Patient Protection Agreement, passed safety screening, have washed their hands, and are appropriately wearing PPE
- Clean and disinfect all surfaces and equipment at the beginning and end of each day
- Clean and disinfect all surfaces and equipment before and after each appointment
Hearing Aids & Accessories
Transferring hearing aids and accessories between people is a potential COVID-19 transmission risk. We adhere to the following procedures when collecting, handling, and returning patient property:
- Patient removes devices and places them into a labelled plastic bag or container that is provided by Hearing Aid 911
- Devices are disinfected by Hearing Aid 911 prior to service
- Upon successful completion of service, Hearing Aid 911 disinfects equipment and places it in a new plastic bag or container, along with single use alcohol wipes
- Hearing aids and/or accessories are returned to patient and instructed to use the alcohol wipes to disinfect the equipment prior to use
- Patients are encouraged to wash their hands to complete delivery

Senior Living Facilities

We pledge to cooperate and comply with your facility’s COVID-19 protocols completely. We offer the following additional safety measures:
- Remote tablet-based hearing testing
- Online support with telehealth when it is possible and appropriate.
- A drop box for drop-off and pickup
- Curbside pick-up/ drop-off and mail delivery, as needed
